Our STEM building offers students modern, interactive and authentic learning experiences, with an open space Science and Technology space, computer lab, sound proof presentation room and library.
Our gymnasium is a large space, offering both active and interactive learning. This large air-conditioned area includes a digital presentation system and is also utilised for productions, presentations and our weekly assembly.
Each classroom is air-conditioned and is equipped with modern teaching aids, such as short throw projectors and interactive whiteboards and televisions. We pride ourselves on providing each student with excellent learning opportunities using up to date infrastructure.
Currently, at Whyalla Town Primary School, we have 3 playgrounds dedicated to junior primary and another playground dedicated to the primary students. The 3 grassed areas and rubberised quad provide opportunities for interactive games, basketball and creative play.
A full-sized oval provides opportunities and space for football, soccer and a range of other activities. Our recently resurfaced full-sized netball and basketball courts have been very popular and are well utilised.
Our facilities include 10 recently upgraded toilet cubicles, which allows us to provide additional modern and pleasant toilets facilities.
A full class undercover pergola area provides opportunities for outdoor learning to take place.
