Governing Council
Our Governing Council is a valuable part of our school.
This body works closely with the Principal and school community assisting us to move forward with a shared vision, ensuring that our school develops and implements strategies and activities to enable it to fulfil the objectives of the Site Improvement Plan.

Annual General Meetings
The Annual General Meeting of the Governing Council is held during term one and all parents are welcome to attend.
Governing Council meetings are held in week 3 and week 8 of each term and comprises of parents and staff.
Governing Council Executive Members for 2023 are:

Secretary: Sarah Rudd
Treasurer: Nikki Everett
The Whyalla Town Primary School Governing Council:
- are fully engaged in supporting volunteers at the school
- coordinate fundraising events
- run and monitor Before School, Out of School Hours and Vacation Care at the school
- monitor and oversee the running of the canteen
