Excursions
Excursions and special events complement the curriculum and are an important aspect of the educational programs offered at our school.
Excursions reinforce, complement and extend learning opportunities for all students and develop an understanding that valuable and powerful learning takes place in a broad range of contexts.
We are fortunate to be well placed in the town to allow excursions to the beach, historical locations and local administration ie City Council, which are within close proximity to our school.
Upon enrolment, parents will have the opportunity to provide general consent for local excursions (walking distance from the school).
Information will be always provided about excursions in advance. Consent forms and information will be provided to families for any swimming or aquatics activity and excursions other than local excursions.
